Ultimate Transportation Announces Major Expansion, Becoming Your Go-To Destination for Trailers and Campers

Fargo, ND– Ultimate Transportation, a long-standing fixture in the community for over 25 years, is excited to announce the latest phase of its transformation into the region’s premier destination for trailer and camping enthusiasts. Since changing ownership in 2022, the company has been reimagining its space, bringing together years of expertise with an exciting new vision to create a one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive facility for trailers and campers.

Over the past 3-5 years, current ownership has actively acquired properties in the area, transforming their 15-acre complex into the ultimate hub for purchasing trailers & campers. The centerpiece of this revitalization is a unique, immersive experience to ‘Try Before You Buy.’

Ultimate Transportation’s ‘Try Before You Buy’ area will feature eight designated spots surrounding a pond, where customers can experience the true camping lifestyle in action. Customers can test out campers on-site, with full water & electric hookups in an authentic camp setting, ensuring they feel confident with their purchase and well-prepared for their next adventure.

Highlights of the Expansion:

  • ‘Try Before You Buy’ Pond Demonstration Area:The facility now features a pond with eight designated spots where potential buyers can “try before they buy,” allowing them to set up and experience travel trailers or fifth wheels in a real camp-like environment with fully functioning water and electric hookups. Customers can spend the day on-site, exploring their new camper at their own leisure, to ensure they are comfortable before making their purchase.
  • Rejuvenation of the Area:A previously dilapidated part of the property has been cleared, making way for a revitalized outdoor space designed to serve as the region’s top destination for trailers and campers.
  • Full-Service Facility:Ultimate Transportation is truly a one-stop destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a comprehensive range of services including a free dump station (coming soon), propane fills, thousands of parts & accessories, and a 3-bay full service facility for warranty, repairs, maintenance, and more. Plans are also underway to add additional service bays to better accommodate growing customer needs.
  • 2025 Enhancements:The front of the building will undergo exterior renovations, including new concrete, greenspace, and light poles to enhance visibility and curb appeal.

Previous Enhancements:

  • Full Interior Overhaul:In Winter of 2022/2023, the interior of the facility underwent a complete renovation, creating a clean, modern, and organized space.
  • South Property Demolition:The building formerly known as LTP was demolished in Spring/Summer of 2024 to make way for easy-to-access campers & trailers on display.
  • Additional Brands Added:New ownership also brought in top-of-the-line brands such as inTech, known for its high-end custom race trailers, and Grand Design RV, a leader in the camper industry.
  • Commitment to Customer Relationships:Unlike large retailers where customers can feel like just a number, Ultimate Transportation focuses on building lasting relationships. “We’re making buying a camper fun again,” said Garret Rodeberg. “It should be fun, personal, and unforgettable. Dakota Pools and Spas has recently taken on new ownership as well and will remain a tenant in its current location on the North side of the building. They, too, have recently completed a full renovation and are in the process of reimagining the spa buying experience along with bringing in multiple new product lines.
